Edge data center facility under construction with trades crews
What We Build
Edge Data Centers
Are Different.
So Are We.
A standard commercial build doesn't prepare a crew for edge data center work. These facilities demand precision tolerances on power, cooling, and structured cabling that most general contractors have never encountered. iBuild specializes exclusively in this environment.

High-density power distribution, UPS systems, generator integration, low-voltage structured cabling, and NEC-compliant installation.
Why It Matters
Edge infrastructure is the fastest-growing segment in construction.
Every major telecom carrier, cloud provider, and enterprise network is pushing compute closer to the edge. That means more edge data centers — and a critical shortage of construction crews trained to build them. iBuild exists to close that gap, with a workforce built on veteran discipline, apprentice ambition, and journeyman expertise.

Built Different. On Purpose.
Most construction companies are general. iBuild is specific. We specialize in the construction, electrical, and plumbing work required to build and commission small compute edge data centers. We've built our entire company around the workforce that can do it best.
1
We specialize in edge data center construction.
Edge deployments aren't like standard commercial builds. Power density, cooling precision, and structured cabling tolerances all require trade workers who understand the specific demands of data infrastructure. Our crews are trained for this environment specifically, not repurposed from general construction work.
2
We hire veterans first.
Military engineers, electricians, combat veterans, and logistics specialists carry skills that translate directly into construction leadership. Discipline, mission focus, working under pressure, and team communication are baseline expectations in the military — and they're the exact qualities edge data center construction demands. We don't treat veteran hiring as a program. It's our competitive advantage.
3
We train through a federally registered apprenticeship.
iBuild's apprenticeship program is registered with the U.S. Department of Labor under 29 CFR Part 29 and 29 CFR Part 30. Our training is delivered in partnership with Penn Foster's accredited online curriculum and connected to the Center of Excellence program. Apprentices earn wages from day one and graduate with nationally recognized credentials.
4
We build careers, not just projects.
An apprentice who starts with iBuild can earn a journeyman card in 18 to 48 months depending on their trade, with OSHA training, trade licensing, and a CoE-backed credential included in the program. A veteran can move into a supervisory role faster than at any general contractor. A journeyman is working on some of the most technically demanding and financially rewarding projects in construction right now.
