Experienced tradespeople and journeymen on a technical construction project
Journeymen
Bring Your Skills.
We'll Put Them
to Work.
If you're a licensed journeyman electrician, journeyman plumber, or experienced construction professional, iBuild offers something most general contractors can't: consistent work on technically demanding, well-compensated edge data center projects.
Edge data center construction isn't residential. It isn't standard commercial. The power densities, cooling precision, and cabling standards require licensed tradespeople who take their work seriously.

What to Expect Working with iBuild
Technical work that challenges your skills.
General commercial work can feel repetitive for an experienced tradesperson. Edge data center projects demand precision at every stage — power infrastructure, cooling loops, structured cabling, and commissioning.
Prevailing wage on applicable projects.
When iBuild works on federally funded or federally assisted construction projects, all workers are paid no less than the prevailing wage rates for the applicable trade and geographic area — set by the U.S. Department of Labor.
A company built around craft.
iBuild is not a staffing company. We employ tradespeople directly, develop skills through the apprenticeship pipeline, and value retention over turnover. Journeymen who join iBuild find a culture that respects the license you've earned.
Advancement into supervision.
Experienced journeymen have a clear path to foreman and superintendent roles as the company grows. Edge data center deployment is expanding rapidly, and iBuild is building the leadership team alongside the workforce.
