Program
What Is a Registered Apprenticeship?
A registered apprenticeship is a formal, employer-driven training program registered with the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) under 29 CFR Part 29. It combines structured on-the-job training (OJT) with related technical instruction (RTI) delivered through an accredited provider — in iBuild's case, Penn Foster's online curriculum.
Registration with the DOL means the program meets federal standards for training quality, equal opportunity (29 CFR Part 30), and wage progression. It also means credentials earned through the program are nationally recognized. A journeyman card from a DOL-registered program carries weight with every employer in the country.
